Most of the East is blanketed in snow right now and many of us have to wake up in the morning, put on your snow boots and trek outside to warm up your car. Many people do it as they are having breakfast and let the car warm up a good 10 to 15 minutes. But is this sufficient? Are you saving gas or comfort here?

In all practicality you only need to warm up your engine a good 2-3 minutes. This is just enough time to head up the oil that lubricates your engine. Anything extra, just wastes gas. Idling your car can consume a good percentage of your daily gas quota. So instead of turning on your car and walking away to go shower or eat breakfast, consider all the gas your are wasting.

Instead, spend a couple minutes scraping ice and snow off your vehicle and then turning on your car. Wear gloves and a hat since your car will be cold when you drive out, but know that you are saving big bucks which is what you need during this recession.

For some reason, many consumers are interested in getting an Audi car. Never mind the recession! People know where they want to spend their hard earned money. There are some Audi cars that many dealers can’t keep on the lot for more than 5 days at a time. Audi is known of luxury with leather interiors and LED taillights to spice things up.

Interested in knowing which Audi cars are hot sellers? Take a look.

Audi SS Coupe – On sale for $52,400. This little gem is selling around 4x faster than other Audi vehicles so it may be hard to get or even get a test drive.

Audi Crossover Q5 – On sale for $38,000 this Audi is definately a hot car and many people want to get their hands on it.

Audi isn’t the only car maker that has some hot cars on the market. The rival Chevrolet’s Camaro is sold out everywhere you look! This car even outranked the Ford Mustang this past summer. So if you’re interested in a car, you can consider Audi’s Crossover or SS Coupe or even the Camaro, but if you don’t want to wait or drive 100 miles to a dealership, then consider a less popular car.

Did you know that the car you drive says a lot about you? It tells a lot about your education level and finance level for a start. Honda owners portray a certain something as well. Here is what a Honda car says about you if you are driving one.

Data indicates that Honda owners are very tech savy and have at least a college level degree. Honda owners are also very pragmatic and don’t want to be flashy. Economical is the way to go for Honda owners. Honda representatives agree and add that their cars are dependable which is what owners want.

So if you are thinking about your next car, see if a Honda will fit your lifestyle.

Take a look to see if your car is on the stolen or least stolen list.

Top 5 Most Stolen Cars

1996 Dodge/Plymouth Neon 4-door Car

1996 Dodge/Plymouth Neon 2-door Car

1995 Acura Integra 2-door Car

2001 Audi TT Quattro Roadster

2002 Acura RSX Type S 2-door

Top 5 Least Stolen Cars

2003 Cadillac Deville 4-door Car

2002 Lincoln Continental 4-door Car

2001 Lincoln Town Car 4-door Car

2007 Chevrolet Impala 4-door Car

2001 Toyota Avalon 4-door Car

Looking at the most stolen cars, Dodge Neon is the most stolen car. This is because more cheaper vehicles are easier to steal and don’t have heavy alarm systems. It is not so easy to explain why there are cars that are least likely to steal. The simple explanation is that they are harder to steal due to computerized technology and they have a heavy alarm system built in.
